Home / Our ranges
Five ranges, 55 bays, at Campbelltown
Our ranges are built around the sports we shoot: four outdoor live-fire ranges for competition and training, and a dedicated indoor 10-metre air pistol range with electronic scoring. Together they let members train and compete across the full CLDPC programme from 10 to 50 metres, all on one site. That combination is uncommon: turning targets at 25 metres, fixed targets at 50, and electronic scoring indoors, so the whole ISSF programme can be shot here in any weather. Members travel from as far as Canberra and Nowra to shoot it.
Facilities
What's on site
Range 1
Twenty bays on four five-bay target trolleys. Two of the trolleys travel anywhere between 3 yards and 50 metres, so a squad can shoot at whatever distance the match calls for rather than whatever the range is fixed at. The remaining two sit at 25 metres and are being converted to the same full-travel system.
Ranges 2 & 3
Two 10-bay ranges fitted with turning targets at 25m — the backbone of our ISSF precision and rapid-fire programme.
Range 4
Our practice range for the shorter distances of Service Pistol and WA1500. A relocatable target trolley sets the targets at any distance up to 25 metres, and three removable barricades go in for barricade stages. At 25 metres it doubles as an ISSF practice range.
Air Pistol Range
A 10-bay indoor range running an SQ10 electronic target system, fully air-conditioned. Shoot in the evening, in any weather, with instant scoring on screen.
Clubhouse
Kitchen and catering facilities, lounge and seating for approximately 40 people, and a safe area for firearm maintenance.
