Five ranges at Campbelltown

Our ranges are built around the sports we shoot: four outdoor live-fire ranges for competition and training, and a dedicated indoor 10-metre air pistol range with electronic scoring. Together they let members train and compete across the full CLDPC programme from 10 to 50 metres, all on one site.

Facilities

What's on site

Range 1, an 18-bay outdoor range
18 bays · 25m and 50m

Range 1

An 18-bay outdoor range with removable turning targets at 25m and fixed targets at 50m. Targets can be removed at both distances, so the range runs at either distance — or a combination of both across different sections.

Ranges 2 and 3, 10-bay ranges with turning targets
10 bays each · 25m

Ranges 2 & 3

Two 10-bay ranges fitted with turning targets at 25m — the backbone of our ISSF precision and rapid-fire programme.

Range 4 with barricades
5 bays · up to 25m

Range 4

A 5-bay range with a relocatable target trolley, so targets can be set at any distance up to 25m. Three removable barricades make it our practice range for barricade and short-distance work.

The ten-bay indoor air pistol range with its electronic targets
10 bays · 10m · indoor

Air Pistol Range

A 10-bay indoor range running an SQ10 electronic target system, fully air-conditioned. Shoot in the evening, in any weather, with instant scoring on screen.

Range rules

  • Treat any firearm as if it is loaded, at all times.
  • When you take a pistol out of a bag or case, keep it pointed at the target line.
  • If you are not ready to fire, keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard.
  • Be attentive and careful the whole time you are on the range.
  • If you see a dangerous situation, report it to a range instructor directly.
  • Never use drugs or alcohol before or during your time on the range.
  • All firearms must be unloaded and safely cased before you leave the shooting bay.

Children are welcome at the club, but not on the ranges under the age of 12. Every minor who attends must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who signs all documents and stays with them at all times.
